facade series in Wolfsburg
The following project is about applying colors and materials collected during the research process to a series of facades in Wolfsburg, with the aim of creating harmony between the buildings and their surroundings, as well as a working concept between them. Thus, they should be understood as parts of a whole, a larger concept that recognizes the presence of surrounding buildings from different eras, adapting on the one hand and modernizing the street line on the other.

The matrix gives the individual colors a structure and enables an overview of the color fields and focal points. This facilitates further work with the colors and their application.
Color circles were created from the original images of the stones and facades. Here not only the colors, but also the textures can be seen well.

The colors and materials of the research can then be applied to the facade.
Different color combinations are created and tested on the house. The final version combines modern colors in a conventional way and fits into the cityscape. The facade series can be clearly recognized as a unit, but offers new combinations and application of colors on each house.

Building set system
The center of the presentation and the best way to show my concept is the construction kit with all materials and colors. Here the panels can be taken out and placed in different combinations to create color-material collages of the individual buildings.
This kind of presentation is very vivid, as well as interactive and serves a better understanding, as well as an interest in the individual building blocks.
